Qurbani/Udhiya Eid Al-Adha

Double the Blessing of Eid. Feed a Family in Need.

“The son of Adam does not do any deed on the Day of Sacrifice that is more beloved to Allah than the shedding of blood (i.e., offering a sacrifice)." — Tirmidhi (1493), Ibn Majah

What is sacrifice (Qurbani)?

Qurbani (Udhiyah) is the act of sacrificing an animal during the holy days of Eid al-Adha, in remembrance of the strong faith of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who was eager to sacrifice his son on the orders of Allah. It is a blessed obligation for those who can afford it, and a powerful act of piety, appreciation, and compassion. The meat is shared among family, friends, and most importantly those in need.
