Flash Flood Relief Drive 2025

Standing with Pakistan in Its Hour of Need

In August 2025, Pakistan was struck by catastrophic flash floods and landslides, mainly across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Entire villages were washed away, roads and homes destroyed, and thousands left stranded without food, shelter, or medical care.

700+ lives lost (with numbers still rising)
Buner District alone reported 450+ deaths
Over hundreds of people remain missing, feared trapped or swept away
Thousands displaced across Buner, Swabi, Swat, Shangla, Bajaur,
Mansehra, Muzzafarabad, Gilgit, Chilas and Battagram

This calamity has left families in desperate need of food, clean water, and medical aid.

“Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world,
Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter.”
(Prophet Muhammad – Sahih Muslim, 2699)

Al Haq Foundation’s Response

outbreaks.

support for injured victims.
✅ On-Ground Presence: Volunteers working directly in affected villages to ensure
help reaches those who need it most.
✅ relief camps in the severely affected areas

Al Haq Foundation’s Response

In times of disaster, a warm meal is more than just food, it is comfort, dignity, and hope. Clean water saves lives, and timely medical care prevents further tragedy. Al Haq Foundation is committed to standing by every family until they are safe, nourished, and cared for since the beginning of disasters till the end

In response to the recent heavy rains and flash floods that struck parts of Rawalpindi, Al Haq Foundation launched an immediate Flood Relief Program to support affected families and individuals facing hardship due to the natural disaster. Al Haq foundation assured that no one is left behind in this time full of hardships.

Within hours of assessing the damage in several low-lying areas, the foundation's dedicated volunteers mobilized resources and reached out to flood victims with urgently needed food and supplies. The program successfully provided freshly cooked meals, clean drinking water, and basic aid to over 160 individuals who had been displaced or severely impacted by the flooding.
